My baptism!
The baptism was fun and I was all smiles for a bit but I did start to get a little hungry and tired towards the end (it was an hour long you know...!)... they covered me in olive oil and dunked in water 3 times and that kind of put me over the top!! I was a trooper though and made it through no problem but I was ready for a nap!!
After my 3 dunks they dressed up all up in this fancy white dress (bonnet and all!) not quite me usual look but I did look pretty :) At the end all my friends came up to walk around the alter with me...I think that way my favorite part! :)

Thanks to everyone who came to my baptism - it meant alot to me!!

Showing them the sights...
Since Mrs. Mary has never been to Oregon we had to do one day of touring... We took to her Edgefield for lunch then went the scenic highway to the Columbia gorge - the fog even lifted around 2:00 so we could actually see the gorge!! Of course we had to show her some of Oregon's beautiful waterfalls as well... so we went by a few and finished off the tour at Multnomah falls - it was a fun day and I think everyone enjoyed the sights!!

My first traverse....
Check it out -I've been working on my traversing.... I remember watching mom and dad climb when I was really young and they would warm up by traversing across the bottom of the wall so I figured I'd get a head start and practice on the dining room table at home... I wonder when I get to try the actual climbing wall!

Walking on water... well, ok it was ice :)
We headed to Trillium lake last weekend and did some snowshoeing. The trails were fairly crowded so we headed "off the beaten path" a bit and decided to just walk across the lake - which was nice and frozen of course :)
There was this awesome view of Mt. Hood from the middle of the lake... so cool! ... And yes, I was nice and cozy in my snowsuit!!!

11 months old!
Can you believe it!! In one month I'll be a year old!! Mom and Dad can't believe it. I figured I would do a quick update on me...
I'm getting better and better at walking everyday - still can't officially walk on my own but I can walk holding on with just one hand (while the other one flails in the air helping me balance :). I can also cruise along just about anything - walls, cabinets, dogs... and I'm practically running behind my push toy! I can pretty much make my way all around the house one way or another and I just love it! When I can't get there on foot I prefer the belly pull to crawling. I'm really just as quick and I can help my mom with the sweeping this way (as in my shirts and pants fill in for the broom :). Makes for a few more clothes washings but I don't mind a bit! (m&d might feel different here..)
Still only 2 teeth but I can eat lots of stuff - grapes, peaches, dried fruit, all sorts of veggies, pasta, meatballs, sausage, cheese, yogurt, and veggie booty are a few of my favorites. One thing I've decided I don't like any more is avocados... used to love them but no so much anymore - what can I say, may tastes have matured. Maybe if mom starts giving me some yummy guacamole I'll give it another try.. we'll see!
Much to my mom's dismay - I love to play with dolls. I have some at school that I play with all the time and at home I have one that my Yiayia made for me which I love to have with me when I go to sleep and wake up in the morning. She's soooo cute! Generally I like to pick them up, drop them on the ground, pick them up again and give them a nice hug and pat on the back.
I also love to play with any toys that I can bang together, pull apart or put into something (then take it back out). I especially like to put things into my push toy, push them around then take them out somewhere else. This makes for a fun game for my parents as well! Anything that I can make music with I love as well - it's fun to play along with my dad as he plays guitar! (and so far I'm showing signs of having more rhythm than my mom - whew :).
Happy New Year!
We headed over to central Oregon to celebrate New Years with some friends. It was super fun! My friend Bailey was there too and we had fun hanging together all weekend. She even taught me how to give hugs! Now I like to give them to everyone! It's how I say "Happy New Year" in my own way :). I got to go on 2 fun snowshow adventures. First with my mom and the girls (the boys headed up to the mountain to ski). Then on we all headed out the next day for a New Years Day outing - a great way to start off the new year!! Driving home was fun too - I got a turn at the wheel!
