Car wash time

I learned how to wash the car today!! Here's the basic steps... get the sponge full of suds (which I would do by putting my hand in the soapy water, then putting the suds on the sponge - see video).
Next you rub the sponge on car until it's all clean... then have someone (in this case Granny) wash the suds off. Then go back and get more suds and do it all over again! Yes, I did clean the same spot on the car door about 20 times but it was dirty!

It was so fun we washed the truck too!

Hike with Granny

Granny came to visit me and we've been having lots of fun together. Today we went for a hike to Mirror Lake which was awesome. There was a great view of Mt. Hood from the lake so I think Granny liked that :). We had lots of fun at the lake. I took my shoes off and played in the lake - it seemed a bit muddy at first, but didn't take me long to figure out it was fun to play in the water! The dogs had a fun time in the water too :)

Dad's big ride

So my dad did a really long ride today ... He rode the Portland Century which was 100 miles long!! He rode with his friend Rafael and they did awesome! That was my dad's longest ride ever!!

Mom, Yiayia, Papou and I went to Blue lake to cheer them on along the way which was fun, especially because there was a really fun playground :). Next we went to the finish line to catch their big finish. I gave dad a big kiss and told him what a good job he did :) I'm pretty proud of him.

Blueberry Bliss

Mom and I went blueberry picking today! We met my friend Bailey and her mom there and we all went hunting for blueberries!! It didn't take me long to figure out that they were everywhere! Tons and them! And to make it even better, there were in reach :). I spent most of the time picking nice ripe ones (by the handful) and popping them into my mouth... yummm!

Then Bailey let me use of her buckets and showed me how to pick them and put them in the bucket! So I did that for a while (only because I was stuffed and couldn't fit any more into my belly :)... Of course after nice break and some running around, I indulged in the ones I picked and cleared out the bucket too...

Colorado Visit

I had a big weekend! I got to fly on a plane all the way to Colorado to go visit my Yiayia, Papou, Aunt Dena, Uncle Andrew, and Cousins Leo and TJ!

We had lots of fun playing together and I just loved getting to play with all their toys!! I got to hang out at the pool on Friday and with Yiayia and Papou which was great because it was pretty hot out. Then I headed up with Uncle Andrew adn Mom to check out the concert at Beaver Creek. I think we missed the music but I had a ton of fun riding the gondola up to the top of the hill. We got off at the top and got to go pet the horses!! I like to say "Neeeeigh" when I see horses.... I think they liked me because I spoke "their language" :).

I got to spend lots of time trying to keep up with Leo and TJ the next day... those boys have lots of energy!! They definitely kept me on my toes!! We all had a fun outing to their neighborhood playground. I took the plunge and actually went down the slide all by myself!! It was so fun, I did it over and over and over again!

After a bit of a more relaxing day on Sunday it was time to head home. Although we got a bit delayed at the airport so it gave mom and I LOTS of time to explore the airport!! I think my favorites are the moving walk ways and escalators!! We finally headed home and lucky for mom I was worn out after running around the airport for 2 hours and slept the whole way home :).
