Forest Park hike..

We hit up Forest Park the other day for a nice long hike. We hiked all the way up to the Audobon Society which was super exciting because I got to see an owl, a vulture, and a hawk! The owl (Julio) even chatted a bit with us. I think we hiked for like 2 1/2 miles. Mom and Dad were pretty impressed that I did the whole thing on my own! I was still going strong at the end ... check me out :)

School Days...

Out for a nice walk with my class ... We try to get our for walks a couple times a week.. Today we were off to the Japanese garden!

Check out our new wagon!! Caits and I had so much fun on our first little wagon ride - I think Caitlyn especially loves that I get to hold her when we ride in it - Can you tell?

Bath time fun...

It was bath time for Caitlyn the other day and I insisted on helping. I give great baths! I cleaned her back with LOTS of soap, then her arms and feet. Once she was all clean I decided it was time to join in the fun and hop in:) It's pretty fun taking baths with Caits - we like to splash around together.

Since she was all clean, mom got her out, dried her off and got her all dressed. She came down to hang out while mom finished my bath.... and apparently she wasn't ready to be done yet because she climbed back in my bath tub (fully dressed :) - mom just loved it as you can imagine!

Who's up next?

Dad was saying how his neck and back were hurting so I gave him a nice massage. He said he felt MUCH better when I was done.

tunnel fun

Well, I decided to get the tunnel out yesterday and I think it took Caitlyn about 2 seconds to dive in. She LOVED it. We played a fun game where she would crawl inside and I would run to one end - she would try to catch me and just as she got close I'd run to the other end and make her come get me again.. and again... and again! We were both full of giggles! It was fun. I think this will be a popular game :)

Yes, I know... pretty impressive huh? I'll consider all offers, but can't guarantee my parents will give it up!

Caits is 10 months.. can you believe it!?!

Once Caitlyn turned 10 months old - she decided it was time to hit the stairs :) She started with tackling a couple stairs one day, then the next day - she tackled the rest! She was NOT going to start until she reached the gate...

So now that she is 10 months and 3 days old she's just about mastered the stairs and it's pretty much her favorite thing to do... Mom and dad are working on a gate to keep her down but as for me I like to entice her up :)

Lovin' the sunshine (while it's here!)

We figured we had to get out and take advantage of the nice sunny day, so we all piled into the car for a little "hike" at Washington park... We could see all the mountains crystal clear which was pretty cool and I think the dogs definitely enjoyed getting out of the house (as did the rest of us :). As for Caits, she decided it was nap time :)
