Fruit box..

Mom and dad get a box of organic fruit and vegetables delivered every other week and I've been getting pretty curious to see what's in the box. Today mom let me help her unload it! I handed her every piece of fruit so she could put it in the fridge (and usually tried to sneak a bite before I gave it to her :). I think she was impressed with what a good helper I was!

A chair fit for me

Check out this awesome chair I just "discovered" yesterday... I figured out how to climb up into it and love hanging out in it...It's just my size :). I haven't quite mastered getting back OUT of the chair, but I'll figure it out...

Me and my pups...

I love playing with the dogs... Mazie has been giving me lots of kisses lately. She just hangs out, gives me a few kisses, and lets me try to jump on her. Bruno doesn't give me as many kisses but he does let me play drums on him. They're both pretty fun :)

Is there something on my face...?

Can someone tell me where my apple slice went? I was playing hide-and-go-seek with my bib and somehow lost my apple... hmmm?

Cruisin' the hood...

We walked over to the Cork the other day for some grub and I insisted on walking the whole way home... Dad helped me out a little bit here and there - which was fun b/c I got to ride on his shoulders...but for the most part I pretty much walked like 3 city blocks :)

Well... you may remember about a month ago when I took my first steps... well, I've been mentally practicing walking ever since (not actually practicing walking too much because generally if my mom or dad let go of my hands I would crumble to the ground and cry...:)

But I decided at school today that I was ready to unveil my walking skills....!!! I think everyone was pretty shocked when I just started walking across the room like it was nothing. Then I turned around and walked back just to show off a bit :)

My mom and dad are going to work on getting some better footage but here's a quick snippet..



Walking is fun!!! and climbing the stairs is pretty fun too... :)

Master of the Stairs...

So... I've figured out how to climb the stairs...!! I studied them pretty good for a while then decided to make my move a week ago or so... just went straight up to the top and even shut the gate :)

I caught mom pretty off guard the first time I headed up b/c I never acted like I was interested in the stairs... so she was a bit surprised to find me half way up them !! I just wanted to impress her with my new skill but I think I about gave her a heart attack instead!

the lone pea

Sometimes I like to mess with Bruno and leave one piece of food on my chair just where he can't get to it... he tried to get this pea for like 10 minutes... it was pretty good entertainment :)

our new kitchen counter...

After much debate... this is what mom and dad have decided on for the kitchen counter... It's been fun wondering all the warehouses getting to feel all the different stones and granite... but it's probably good they finally made a decision!

knit dresses and baby legs...

That's what I wanted to wear to Michele's shower today... and I guess Chloe wanted to wear the same thing!! My is blue, her's is pink but we pretty much wore the same thing :)... I'm not sure who made Chloe's but my Aunt Jennifer knit this dress for me! She gave it to me for my first birthday... We look pretty cute it don't we :)

Bruno's been teaching me a few things...

Like how to pull the whole the roll of toilet paper off the roll :) My teachers would call this a "sensory" activity at school... think my mom thought it was more me just making a big mess :) ... but it was fun!!! She let me play in it for a while since I was having SO much fun... I especially love tearing the TP into little pieces... Bru and I can do some damage!!!
