3 YR Check-up

Well, I had my official 3 year check-up! Let's see - I'll stick to the highlights... I'm 39 inches tall (I grew 4.5 inches last year!) and I weigh 31 lbs. That puts me in the 89% in height and 60% in weight.
I told my mom and dad that I was going to be sad at the Dr's but it turns out that it was pretty fun! She looked my eyes, ears, mouth, listened to my breathing and did all those doctor type things... It wasn't so bad after all :)

Caits in 2nd gear...

Well, as you know Caitlyn started walking about 2 weeks ago, but now she's REALLY walking - she walks all the time and goes like across the whole room... she still falls a bit here and there but never seems to get discouraged ... she just hops right back and stays at it. And she always seems very proud of herself (as she should be :). Here's a couple recent clips of walking skills.

This one is a clip from when she was playing all with herself. She'd pick it up, throw it, chase it, then do it all over again - I think she played this game for like 10 mins... was pretty silly!



She started this trek from the living room - here she's finding her way through the kitchen...

Caits first steps!

Big day for Caits!!! She took like 5 steps today!! She's been standing for while now (maybe like 3 weeks or so..) But she took it to a new level today... and started walking! I think it was her Birthday gift to me :)

Mom and Dad haven't managed to catch it on film yet... but stay tuned!! And here it is :)

Big #3!

So - I had a very big day today... I turned 3!!! (I'm pretty good at showing you on my fingers too :).







It's been a fun few days!! We had a little party on Saturday which was SUPER fun! We rented out this HUGE gym and ran around like crazy!! Then we topped it off with snacks, cupcakes and a big chocolate cake!!

Then we had another party on Sunday at my friend Thijs' house - (but no one sang me Happy Birthday at that one...? They seemed to be more interested in some football game than my birthday for some reason!)

Then today (my REAL Birthday) I got to celebrate again!! Uncle John and Aunt Jennifer came over and we had an awesome meal! (Chicken strips, mac & cheese, fries - my request :).
