Yia Yia and Papou

Yia Yia and Papou come to see me every day and Yia Yia just loves to change my diapers. She is always so happy when I need my diaper changed. It's really fun hanging out with them... they have to go home now but they will be back in a few months to hang out with me all summer!

1st Docter's Appointment!

I got to meet my pediatrician today - her name is Dr. Laurie Donaghu and she's super nice. Connie her nurse seems to really like me too :) They weighed me today and I weighed 8lbs 2.2 oz! They said that was really good for only 5 days after my birthday... I must be a good eater :)

Granny flew in to see me the day I was born... she just couldn't wait to meet me I guess :)

Coming home

Big today today! I got to leave the hospital!! We got to ride in a car (Dad seems to drive pretty slow...) and I got to see my new house!!! I also got to meet my dogs :) They were really curious about me - and tried to give me lots of kisses but mom and dad only let them give me a couple. I think they are going to be really fun to play with when I'm a bit bigger!!

I also got to see my room! It is really fun - I have fun things hanging from the ceiling and monkeys on my walls. I like my room a lot :)

Welcome Sophia MacKenzie

Hi! I was born Feb 7th, 2008 at 6:45am... weighing in at 8lbs 3 oz and 20.5 inches long (which is a bit larger than my mom and dad were anticipating!!!). And you well know by now I'm a girl!!

Guess mom and dad didn't know if I was going to be a boy or a girl so that was a fun surprise. Think it was a good thing I was a girl because they wouldn't have known what to name me if I was a boy!! I like my name, I think they chose well :)
