How to make Spanakopita

We had an extra special day at school last week. Yiayia, Papou, mom and Caitlyn all came to my class to teach my friends and I how to make Spanakopita! We had a great time mixing up all the ingredients (actually we mushed them all up in a bag which even more fun the stirring them up!) and put the mix into little phyllo cups... then had the kitchen bake 'em up - they were mmm mmm yummy!!



Papou also brought some Greek music to play and we learned how to count to five in Greek! I'm still working on learning all the numbers but I think pretty soon I'll have it down pat :).

I think all my friends had a great time learning how to make the Spanakopita - Yiayia was a pretty good teacher if I do say so myself!
