All Comers Track meet!
It's official - I've participated in my first track meet! At first I was little overwhelmed by all the other 2 and 3 year olds racing down the track but with a little help from my friend Bailey and her mom Amy, I made it across the finish line! Caitlyn was a pretty good cheer leader from the side line too.... Maybe next week I'll actually run WITH the other kids instead of waiting to they are all done before I go :). I also got to try the shot put (aka softball throw) and high jump but I think the best part was playing in the dirt with Bailey.
After the track meet we walked back to Bailey's house and had pizza on the front porch. It was such a nice night and I think EVERYONE was happy to have the weather be nice enough to play outside all night long!!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!
Well we sure did miss having dad home for father's day!! He missed out on the best Salmon (actually it was Stealhead but close enough) that I've EVER had... I think I had like 10 helpings... :) Uncle John is the best cook ever!
We wanted to make sure he knew we were thinking of him though so here's a couple pics and little video for you Daddy!!

How to make Spanakopita

Papou also brought some Greek music to play and we learned how to count to five in Greek! I'm still working on learning all the numbers but I think pretty soon I'll have it down pat :).
I think all my friends had a great time learning how to make the Spanakopita - Yiayia was a pretty good teacher if I do say so myself!

My Sunday best..

Yiayia and Papou wanted to take me to church on Sunday so I decided to get all dressed up in a dress and do my hair nice and pretty. I kind of got a little stir crazy at church so we didn't stay all too long but it was still fun to go with them :). When we got back I decided to help out in the yard a bit... some of our plants needed to be watered so I took good care of them :).

The Zoo!!!

I went to the zoo for the first time today and it was so COOL!!! I saw lots of awesome animals - let's see there were lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, bears, and sea otters to name a few! I asked mom and dad if I could pet the lions but they said that wasn't really a good idea :(. I also got to see a baby elephant! She was really cute and pretty big for a baby, although compared to her mom, I guess she was kind of small.... her mom was BIG!
We had so much fun at the zoo, I hope we go back again soon!!
Caitlyn 3 months!

Memorial Day BBQ'in

Well, after way too many rainy days (even for me :) we got to see the sun on Memorial Day... YEAH!! We had a fun day hanging out in the backyard. Dad spent ALL day tending to his brisket that he was slow cooking in the smoker (yummm!). As for me, I spent most of the day running around the backyard chasing Bruno and jumping through hula hoops. Yiayia, Papou, Aunt Jennifer and Uncle John all came over to play with me (and eat some of dad's brisket too I suppose :). Caitlyn had fun hanging outside too I think... although all the action wore her out I think because she took like a 4 hour nap before/during dinner! Oh yeah, and check out my awesome memorial day outfit... red, white and blue :)
