If at first you don't succeed - try, try again

Caits is getting the hang of her new bike and is pretty determined to keep up... with me that is!  I found this great little ramp by the school near us that I had fun going down but Caits didn't want to be left behind...  so after I cruised down the ramp, up went Caits to give it a whirl (this about day 5 on her bike by the way...)  The first couple attempts went pretty well so mom decided she'd try to get it on video and of course - you guessed it... she ate it.  You should have seen her... she looked at the ground, looked at her bike... stood up, picked up her bike and headed up the ramp with a look of pure determination... it was awesome.  Then of course she cruised down it no prob (about 10 more times :)...  

Easter!

We're pretty lucky because we get 2 Easter's every year!  Traditional Easter and Greek Easter... and even more lucky for us the Easter bunny comes for both!!  For traditional Easter we went to my friend Bailey's house for brunch and an Easter Egg Hunt!  I don't know what was more fun - hunting or eating the hidden treats :)  You should have seen Caitlyn go through her eggs.. she ate all the treats out of her eggs and then started sneaking treats out of Bailey's!  It was great to spend Easter with all my buddies -

Then for GREEK Easter we had a great feast at my yiayia's house.  She had a full spread of traditional Greek food which was super yummy!!!   It was to have a big dinner with all my family and friends..  We even got to "butt heads" with our red Easter eggs... a fun tradition!

My big "show"

So as you know I've been taking a class at Do Jump and this weekend was our big show to show off everything we've learned. It was SO FUN!! I was pretty excited that mom, dad AND Caitlyn came to watch. I made sure to give them big waves when I saw them! So- I bet you wondering what we did for our show...

I'll give you the highlights - first we crawled out like different animals, then we "flew" around the gym like butterflies! The we got to show off our trapeze skills (check the pic) and then do some tumbling for everyone (check the video). I think everyone liked it and I LOVED it!!

A little taste of my lil' sis

So, I know this is my blog and all, but I thought I'd give you all a little taste of my sister. She's pretty entertaining... this is pretty much what see does all day long... she never stops moving!

Three amigos..

Caits got to hang with Amelia and I after our Do Jump class... we had fun being silly together - can you tell? And we made sure she was in good hands crossing the busy street!

Babysitting Fun :)

So my Yiayia came to visit for a week (which was we loved :) And one night we got go hang out with Bailey and Parker. We decided to bust out my new game "Twister"! As you can tell, it was pretty entertaining, even yiayia played with us (she was a good sport!).

Some daddy time :)

So, mom had to take off to NY for a few days so Caits and I got some quality time with Daddy :).
Some highlights.. Caits got to experience her first hot chocolate (as you can see, it was a hit :). We got to decorate cupcakes at our neighbors house for my friends Marcus' birthday. And we got to go rock climbing 2 times!!! I climbed the BIG wall for the first time and Caits did about 10 laps on the "beginner" wall. We loved being home with dad!!

Oh and when my was in NY, she got to see my cousin Theoni! My mom told me all about her, she loves to sing and dance - I bet we'd get along really well!!

I'm official :)

So, I think I told you about my "gymnastics" class I'm taking (it's actually call physical theatre). Well we have a little show we're going to do next week for all of our parents - which I'm excited and a little nervous about. My mom keeps asking what were going to do for the show (parents aren't allowed in to watch our classes each week) and I just keep saying "I don't know". I really do know but I like to keep her guessing :). Anyway, I was pretty excited for my new leotard that I got for my birthday - I feel so official now! Amelia has one too - we look like we're all business don't we?

Have you heard of it? Yiayia gave one to Caitlyn for her birthday.... you should see all the things that she thinks up!! She spins in it, stands on it, sits in it... here's a little taste :)

Oh, and the best is when daddy wears it on his head and acts goofy!!

Caits turns 2!!!

So, guess who had BIG birthday! Caitlyn did!! She turned 2:) We decided to throw a little party for her... and she loved it!! She especially LOVED it when everyone sang Happy Birthday to her. She looked at her cake, took a deep breath, and blew out her candle in one try!! And then of course she dug in!! We had a super fun time at her party! Lucky for me, some of my friends came over too :)


I think the dogs had fun too... mom and dad had to fight for bed space by the time they hit the hay.
