Caitlyn's getting bigger!!

Wow, even though Caitlyn is MUCH smaller than I am, I can tell she's already getting a bit bigger.. check out these shots of her from the past couple weeks... I think she's chubbin' up a bit!

I heart fruit

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE to eat fruit? My favorite seems to change every day but to name a few of my favs... grapefruit, pineapple, mango, oranges, apples, strawberries, blueberries... oh the list goes on... I don't like any of it to go to waste either, so when mom is done cutting up the "good" part she lets me finish off what's left... I thought I'd demonstrate how to get the most out of a grapefruit and pineapple :)

Hanging with my lil' sis

I love hanging out with Caitlyn when she's lying on a blanket. I always lay down next to her and give her kisses and hugs. She seems to like it too. Every once in a while I try to get her to dance with me. I hold her hand and move it to the music. I don't think she has quite gotten the hang of it yet, but I'll keep trying...

Finally get to ride in the bike trailer!

I didn't think I was ever going to actually get to go for a bike ride in the bike trailer. I play in it all the time in the basement and act like I'm out for a nice bike ride with dad, but I'm actually just sitting in the trailer in the basement... So, I was super excited when we actually headed out for a real bike ride :) Isn't my helmet the cutest!! Cheep Cheep!

Day at the coast

We decided to have a little adventure today and head to the coast. Since dad is "off work" we were all able to take advantage of the beautiful day here in Portland. It's been a long time since I've been to the coast so I kind of forgot what it was like there... it was so pretty! My favorite thing to do was run in the sand and chase the birds!! Only thing was they always seemed to fly away when I got close to them... hmmm, I wonder why? I think Caitlyn had fun too but she pretty much slept the whole time (she sleeps A LOT!!).

Tummy time lessons...

I like to hang with Caitlyn during tummy time... we do it together and I give her pointers... like "How to suck your thumb" :)

Me and my sis...

I thought you all would enjoy seeing some more pics of my baby sister Caitlyn. She's really cute. I just love to give her kisses! So far her favorite things to do are sleep, eat and poop! I've been giving her some toys but she doesn't seem to want to play with them, not sure why... I'll keep trying :) I posted some more pics on Flickr - check them out!

I ride a bike

I got this bike for my 2nd birthday and to be honest with you, I'm not too sure about it... I looks fun from afar, but I've been a "bit" hesitant to get on it... (I actually scream "NO" and run the other direction when mom or dad ask if I want to ride it). So dad pulled it up from the basement yesterday and I decided to surprise him and get on it... and guess what - it was SUPER fun!! We did lots of laps around the house. Dad helped me a little bit but I did all the steering, I think I'm a natural :)

I'm a Big Sister!!!

Guess what... I'm officially a big sister :) My little sister Caitlyn Renee was born yesterday, March 3rd, at 2:20 pm!! She was a big girl at 8lbs, 2 oz (although I outweighed her by an ounce :) and was 21.5 inches long. I got to go visit her twice yesterday and I think she's pretty cute. Some people say she looks like me when I was born but I don't really remember what I looked like back then... I'll take their word on it!!

She gave me this really fun toy - it has lots of stacking cubes with fun pictures on them. I found the smallest piece and gave it to her to play with.. I think she liked that because she kind of smiled at me :) I also pointed out to dad where all of her body parts were - her nose, eyes, ears, head, arms.. I think he was impressed...

I'm excited to have her come home tomorrow so I can introduce her to the dogs :)

Time for baby to arrive!

I've been pretty curious about the big bump on my mom's belly. I've figured out that it's a baby so I like to give it lots of kisses and hugs. Sometimes I even read it books :) By the size of things, I think it's going to be an actual baby soon!!!
