Bday fun

So, for my birthday party this year I wanted to go to the trampoline place! All my friends came and we had so much fun! I think we all jumped for about an hour straight - then took a little break for pizza and cupcakes :)... and hit the tramps one more time (this time with sugar highs!!) Caitlyn had fun too.. after getting ejected a few times when bigger kids jumped on the tramp with her, she figured out how to navigate things and couldn't get enough!!

The big 4!

So, today was my birthday!! Can you believe I'm already 4 years old? You should see how tall I am, I think I grew 4 inches today :)

We had a fun day at school, everyone wore silly hair and we had a dance party to "Keep on Rockin' in the Free World" (my favorite song). It was awesome. Dad even wore silly hair!

It got even better when I got home, Uncle John and Aunt Jennifer came over for dinner - then some of my neighborhood friends came over for cake!! Ice cream cake!!! We all wore princess dresses and ran around the house screaming like little girls (well, big girls:). Oh, and of course I loved getting to open my presents from everyone!!

snowy days in PDX

We were pretty excited to see snow here in Portland... can you tell ?

Do Jump!

So I started a new class! It's called Do Jump! We get to tumble around, swing on trapeze, and dance... Then after 10 weeks we'll put on a "show" for our parents. I'm taking it with my friend Amelia - we're pretty silly together, but at least our teachers don't have to separate us anymore :)

Oh, and my favorite part is going to Starbucks after for a hot chocolate!

Rock (climbing) stars...

We hit up the rock gym today and it was SUPER fun!! My friend Chloe came too! I climbed up to the top of the wall lots of time and loved climbing the "alphabet" climb (all the holds are letters). And Caitlyn was in heaven - she went straight up the little kid wall and didn't even think twice about it! She was awesome - and we both love the slide you take to get down!!

Peddles here I come...

So, for Christmas my cousin Leo gave me his old bike with peddles!! I've been giving it a spin I think I'm getting the hang of it!! I still prefer when my dad keeps his hand on my seat though.. baby steps (although my dad's back might think different!!) Since I'm on a big girl bike, Caits gets to try out my old Skuut bike... I think she's going to like it (once her feet catch touch the ground:)

Trampolines ROCK!

So, Granny got us a trampoline for Christmas and Caitlyn and I LOVE it!!! Every day we think of new "tricks" to show mom, dad and anyone else who will watch us:) Check out one of Caitlyn's "tricks". The next day she took this trick to the next level and kicked her feet up and over her head (and proceeded to land on her head/back on the floor in front of the tramp!!) She hasn't tried that one since!! Thankfully!)

Sunny, snowy Colorado :)

So we all headed to Colorado this year to do Christmas with lots of my cousins, aunts, uncles, and my yiayia, papou, and granny. It was super fun... we got to play in the snow just about every day because a TON of snow dumped the first day we were there. I really loved playing in the snow!! I'm still warming up to sledding and skiing but my cousins seem to have a ton of fun doing both!!

Santa even knew were there and brought all of our gifts to my yiayia and papou's house!! You should have seen all the gifts he got down the chimney!! I really don't know how he does it!! He must have been hungry though because he ate all of the cookies we left him (they were pretty good so I think he ate more then usual :).

We all just loved getting to have Christmas together - every night we put on a "talent" show. Megan was usually the star act but TJ and Leo had a pretty good stand up routine as well. It usually went like this - Megan sang "Double take" with Cam and I as back up dancers/music while dad played the drums (on his cool iPad app) - then TJ and Leo would put on a comedy show. Oh and final act was an all-in version of Jingle Bells. I think everyone really loved our shows (although it did take me a while actually get on "stage" - I have to warm up to these things!!)

My mom, dad and Aunt Terri headed up to the big mountains one day for her birthday and got to have fun skiing/snow boarding with the "big kids" (and TJ :). They seemed to really have fun!!
Oh yeah, AND I got to hang with my best bud Sammy who moved to Colorado last year... bonus!
