I used the potty!

I've also been starting to explore the potty a bit... at first I really didn't want to get on it at all (I have been teaching my doll how to use it though - she even wipes AND flushes). But I thought I should be a better example for Dolly so I decided to sit on the potty too. The first time I just sat on it in my jammies, but since I've discovered how to take my pants off - which is one my favorite things to do now!

Then I figured out how to unbutton my onesie and take my diaper off too (which mom and dad just love). So since my I pretty much half naked all the time, I've been sitting on the potty with no diaper on too. And guess what.. One time I even tinkled!! You've gotta start somewhere right?

Kickin' off 2010

Well, I've been keeping busy in 2010 (And keeping mom and dad busy too!) I LOVE my new table and enjoy having tea parties and coloring on it :) I have lots of tea parties, mainly with the dogs :). I think I gave them the wrong idea though because one day they ate my tea pot !! I think mom is working on a replacement for me (I hope!!).

You might also notice that I got a little bit of a haircut. Since my bangs were pretty much in my eyes all the time mom and dad finally decided to give an a little trim. I guess dad cut my bangs a "bit" shorter than mom was thinking but I think they look just fine and have gotten lots of compliments on my new do :)

I also discovered my awesome backpack that I got as a gift last year... it fits me perfectly now!! It's pretty cool huh? it's from Peru!

Road trip days :)

I got my first taste of a true road trip over the holidays... My mom, dad, and I piled in the car with Mazie and Bruno and headed west... Destination: Colorado.

We made it in 2 days on the way there but had to make it a 3 day trip on the way back because we ran into a bit of bad weather and couldn't drive as far each day (that's what they said at least, I didn't really know the difference... I think they said I was "oblivious" which might have been a good thing!). It was all the same to me, all I know is that I got to hang out in a hotel one night which was pretty fun. My favorite thing to do was put leashes on both pups and take them for a "walk" around the room. They never really seemed to want to go in the same direction though which made the walks a bit difficult...

Since we logged some serious hours in the car I had to get creative on how to keep myself entertained... here's a few things I came up with...

You can read your doll a book...
You can make hand puppets out of your socks...
You can figure out all the ways to wear a diaper (as a hat is my fav...)
You can figure out all the ways to wear a vest...
You can play hide-and-go-seek...
Sometimes you just gotta hang...
and of course you can always sleep :) zzzzzzzzz....

Can't wait till our next road trip!!! Maybe we'll be able to take Flash next time :)

Colorado Christmas 2009

We had a ton of fun in Colorado for Christmas... I opened sooo many presents on Christmas day at one point I got a bit overwhelmed and just started crying for no reason!!! but I got over that pretty fast and dove back to the gifts... It's hard to say was my favorites were because there were so many gifts and all of them seem like a lot of fun!!!

My other cousins Leo and TJ came down on Christmas too so we had fun running all around and playing with all of our new gifts. My Yiayia and Papou had 22 people over for dinner which was pretty impressive. The meal was super yummy, I think my favorites were the cranberry sauce and turkey :).

It was fun to get out and play in the snow everyday too... today after breakfast I took it upon myself to put my snow pants and jacket on over my PJ's (all by myself...well almost :) so we could go outside and play! Snow time!

We woke up this morning to a white blanket of snow!! So, we just had to go out and play in it!!! My cousins Cam and Megan are here too so we all bundled up and headed out... Safe to say we all had fun (dogs included!!). My snow gear is a "bit" big but I was pretty cozy in it so who's complaining :)

I got to meet Santa!! well kind of...

I met my friend Bailey at our local toy store and guess who was there?!? SANTA!!! I wasn't quite sure what to make of him at first but all the kids seemed to really like him, so I figured he had to be a pretty nice guy :) Bailey even sat on his lap and told him what she wanted for Christmas!! I waved to him from a far and gave him a really good smile... maybe next year I'll be brave enough to sit on his lap like Bailey!!

Am I stylin' or what...

I took it upon myself to change up my outfit a bit.... Dad just left me in PJ's all morning so I decided I wanted to spice it up... what do you think? ... and I found this random bag in the office that makes a pretty stylish "shoulder bag". :)

Civil War

Last night was the big Civil War game between U of O and Oregon State... My friend Bailey and her baby sister Parker came over to watch it with me... Well, it was more like her mom and dad came over to watch the game and Bailey and I just played but I did get decked out with my Oregon gear to support them. We had a good time "watching" the game... but taking a bath sounded like way more fun!!

Oh yeah, and I thought wearing Bailey's boots just made my outfit :). Yes I did put them on all by myself (on the wrong feet of course!).

Fun Filled Thanksgiving!!

Wow - we had soo much fun over Thanksgiving!! We got to fly on 4 different planes which was super cool... and lucky us we were upgraded to first class on 2 of them!! I think mom and dad were definitely thankful for that :) I got to hang with my cousins Megan and Cam alot which was way fun... Cam is really silly and Megan and I were best buds. Granny took good care of us making me pancakes every morning and letting me jump on her couch :) I had a blast hanging with Grandpa and Miss Martha too... They had lots of fun toys we loved to go explore and it was fun to play outside on the golf course right behind their house too!

Aunt Terri made an awesome Thanksgiving dinner - I think she fed like 30 people!! I was impressed. I was sad to leave everyone but am excited that I'll get to see some of them in Denver for Christmas... Megan and I will for sure cause some trouble there!! Check out all the pics here on Flickr
