climbing skills...

I've been working on my mantle... stool is a pretty good to practice on :).

Ooooooooooo......

That's what I said when dad took me to the playground for the first time!!! I got to go on the swings and check out the play structure. The see-saw looked really fun too but I didn't have anyone else to sit on the other side... maybe next time :)

My 1st ponytail...

Don't ask me how but my teacher managed to actually get a ponytail in my hair. I think my mom is still trying to figure out how she did it! What do you think? Cute huh?

I'm cruisin'

So check it out... My dad hooked up this awesome bike seat for me!! We went for our first family ride :). We cruised all over town, went to a fountain, and even stopped by a friends house for a visit. I wasn't really a huge fan of the helmet though... after ripping it off a few times I decided would actually wear it. I'm looking forward to cruising the hood this summer!

Xristos Anesti!

That's what you say on Greek Easter. Lucky me I got to have 2 Easters! First we had American Easter (which I already told you about) and then we had Greek Easter!
My Yiayia even made me a Easter basket (or more like an Easter box :). It had lots of fun stuff in it but I think my favorite thing was the baking set. Now I can hang in the kitchen and bake like mom.

I guess it's the Greek Tradition to have a big feast on Greek Easter so we invited lots of friends over (well, I invited Chloe and Bailey) and we all sat around and enjoyed some yummy lamb, potatoes, salad, and spanakopita. Then had some ice cream cake for my dad's birthday!

Oh yeah, and my mom also spent like 10 hours making this Easter bread. I guess it was worth it because everyone seemed to really like it and it did look pretty impressive.

is this how you use this thing?

My first easter egg hunt :)

Guess what... I had my first Easter egg hunt...!!! It was pretty hard because Dad hid them in the living room and I had to search all around for them (okay, so they we're pretty much wide out in the open :) but I did have to figure out which one to put down so I could pick up the next one... decisions!! The best part was that they had fun treats in them!!! I opened them all and ate every last bite!! If only I had a bigger basket that they would all fit in... maybe next year!

My stay with Yiayia and Papou

My parents decided to take a little vacation to Vegas/Red Rocks so I got to hang with my Yiayia and Papou for a few days. It was my first time that both my parents gone... big step!! (for my parents, not really for me of course... :) . I had lots of fun while they were away... I went bowling, went out to dinner, got to hang out with Uncle John and Aunt Jennifer, and spend time playing at my grandparent's condo which is always fun!!

I enjoyed it and I think it's safe to say Yiayia and Papou did too... I don't think they stopped smiling the whole time I was with them... :) Also, I think since my parents let me stay home without them it must mean I'm grown up now :)

Fruit box..

Mom and dad get a box of organic fruit and vegetables delivered every other week and I've been getting pretty curious to see what's in the box. Today mom let me help her unload it! I handed her every piece of fruit so she could put it in the fridge (and usually tried to sneak a bite before I gave it to her :). I think she was impressed with what a good helper I was!
