Caitlyn's getting stronger!

Check out Caitlyn during tummy time!! She used to always bop her head up and down and try to turn it from side to side (which by the way I can do a pretty good impression of :). But now when you put her on her tummy she holds her head up super high and looks around! I bet soon she'll be able to turn her head like a penguin! Go Caits!

Puddle Fun

Well it has been raining A LOT lately and my parents seemed to be not so thrilled about it but I think the rain is pretty fun!! I found this bucket full of rain water outside so I decided to dump it out (all over myself... oops!) and make a fun puddle to jump in!

There's nothing much more fun than jumping in a puddle!!

Sunray class visit

Since mom's on maternity leave she's been coming to visit me at school on Thursdays! We have music class that day so she gets to do music class with us then stay for lunch!! It's soo fun to show her how we all sing and dance to the music. We even do sign language to the songs sometimes.

I especially love sitting next to her at lunch. We do "family style" lunches where we all serve ourselves. That way we can take as much as we want of what we want. I know that seems a bit "advanced" for 2 year olds but we're all very proficient at using tongs and big serving spoons. We even pour our own milk into our glasses! Although mom didn't want milk so was I sure to take her glass over the water fountain and fill it for her :). I also didn't think she took enough pizza so I "offered" her some more. It's been fun getting to show her the ropes :)

Sunny Days in P-town!

Just makes you want to lay on a blanket in the grass and smile :)

Jill's visit

Mommies friend Jill came to visit this weekend!! She was pretty cool especially because she read to me every morning right when she woke up :). I think she really liked reading because she kept wanting to finish all the books even though I was pretty much ready to move on half way through them.

The weather was nice and sunny when she was here so we took her to a couple of our nearby farmer's markets and had fun hanging out outside with our friends Bailey and Parker. Her and mom had a good hike with Caitlyn up to Pittock Mansion as well... I decided to sit that one out and hang with dad :). She also helped mom with my hair so I could have some cool pig tails! She did mom's hair for her so I wanted help with mine too!

Jill had to fly home on a plane but hopefully she'll come back soon!!

My School Art Project

Twice a year we have an art show at school and we get to spend lots of time on a fun piece of artwork. Check out my latest masterpiece! It was really fun making it and I think it turned out pretty good.. what do you think?!?

Caitlyn's 2 month check-up!

Caitlyn had her 2 month check up today and I was really curious to she how she compared to me at 2 months... So here it is! She was 11lbs, 12 oz and 22.5 inches long. That puts her at 75th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for length. According to mom I was 12 lbs, 6oz at 2 months so I guess I was a bit of chunker compared to her! But she's a nice healthy weight and doc thought she was doing great. She even showed off how strong her neck muscles are :). Dr. Donaghu thinks she might be an early crawler... we'll have to wait and see!!

She's been sleeping ALL day since her appt - I think it wore her out!!

We're silly! :)

Caitlyn and I were being silly the other day... I just came from gym class and was showing off my flexibility. I did two new things at gym class by the way! I hung from the bar and did a few swings all on my own! and I also walked on the high beam holding mom's hand!! I felt pretty brave :)
